The AyrBus

A free bus service in Ayr, operated by volunteer drivers. Every Wednesday afternoon, a different outing.

Getting around, together

The program launched in 2025 after a bus was donated by Schlegel Villages. ADCA donated $11,000 and continues to fund fuel and maintenance.

Each week features a different outing: grocery store drop-offs, local excursions, and coffee outings. It's a great opportunity to get out, explore the community, and socialize.

After a pause for repairs, the AyrBus is back in service and run entirely by volunteers, as featured in The Ayr News (March 25, 2026). Read the story.
